I’ve been working in technology in various roles for over 20 years, hoovering up nuggets of geeky info, links and other random bit and pieces that I’m now doing my best to share to my students at GlosCol – some of whom have asked me to share some of this ‘stuff*‘ here.
Their wish is my command.
I’ve always been unhealthily into technology and this has caused me to try my hand at blogging several times over the years – none of which I’ll link to here, mainly because I think I’ve taken them all down. But I do run a few other websites, for a few other reasons. When I get some more time on my hands I’ll update this site with links to my other projects I have on the web.
For about a year now I’ve been teaching Computing at Gloucestershire College, and more specifically Cyber Security and Software Development. Prior to this role I led international consulting teams at IBM’s Watson Internet of Things unit and managed many projects for IBM’s customers both here in the UK and overseas. In a previous life I’ve been a Requirements Management consultant which involved creating and delivering online and classroom RM training. Way back in the dim and distant past I started my career working on fighter jet type stuff at BAE Systems in Edinburgh before joining a small software company that was eventually assimilated by IBM – which put me on the path to where I am today.
If you’re anything like me, hopefully you’ll find the things I share on this site interesting.
Everything on this site represents my own views.
*Stuff being anything and everything I find interesting.
